Eternal Mourning is a guild formed out of the loose collection of people we have met along the way and the new people we meet once Age of Conan is released. With Warhammer also coming down the pike and without knowing now which game will suit the majority of us better, we are reaching out to interested people for both games and jointly recruiting with Ashes to Ashes (a separate guild being established for Warhammer). It is my hope that the people that travel through AoC with Eternal Mourning will also register at Ashes' website for potential future membership there and visa versa. I've placed a link to their forums here for those that would like to check them out and become active there as well. The goal of Eternal Mourning is to take the lessons we learned from DAoC and apply them in AoC. Basically we've learned that among the crowd of people we've gamed with for several years, we run the gamut of play style amongst us. We have a number of casual players as well as a harder core pvp group. Eternal Mourning aims to be large enough to embrace both. To be able to field pvp groups and questing groups and to welcome both play styles equally in an environment of friendship and goofiness. We have a solid core of older players but we also have some younger people around to pick on (I think I meant to say "keep us on our toes"). At any rate, in my ever evolving role as the Queen of Snafu and guild galvanizer, I'm jumping the gun and working toward reuniting us all in AoC.
